Supervisor and SENCO
Caroline has a Level 2 and Level 3 Diploma in Child Care Practice, Level 4 Open University Certificate in Early Years Practice and she is currently studying for the Level 5. Caroline has worked at School Lane Pre-School for over ten years. During this time, she has have helped children of all abilities, develop through play and learning, helping them prepare for school. Caroline manages a friendly team who always ensure that children and their families feel safe and welcome.
Assistant Deputy Supervisor
Kelly joined School Lane Pre-School in 2013 as a volunteer, before gaining a City and Guilds Level 2 Certificate for the Children and Young People’s Workforce (CYPW) in 2014. Kelly finds her role really rewarding, supporting the children learn and develop through play to enhance there knowledge of the key areas within the Early Years Foundation Stages (EYFS).
Supporting Deaf Children in School
Petra joined School Lane Pre-School in 2013, to support children within the setting. Petra holds an advanced BTEC Supporting Deaf Children in School and a Level 2 in British Sign Language. Petra has also taught sign language to some of the staff.
Kirsty joined School Lane Pre-school as Pre-school Administrator in 2016. Kirsty has a NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration and previous administration experience within an office environment and in a preschool.
Chelsea joined the pre-school in May 2018. Chelsea enjoys working in a pre-school and helping the children learn and develop. Chelsea has a Level 3 in Childcare.
Lisa became Deputy Supervisor in 2013, Lisa, has continued to enjoy supporting children in their Early Years learning journey and helping enable them to reach their full potential. Lisa has a Level 2 and 3 in Pre-School Practice, an Open University Level 4 Certificate in Early Years Practice, and a Level 4 Certificate in Pre-School Practice.
Sam joined School Lane Pre-School in 2014. Sam holds a Level 3 Diploma in the Children and Young People’s Workforce (CYPW). Sam enjoys her role, getting to know all the children and being able to support them in their learning and development, to enable them to have the best possible start in life.
Both of Claire’s children attended School Lane Pre-School and Claire enjoyed volunteering at the Pre-School. Claire studied and gained an NVQ Level 2 in Childcare Learning and Development. Claire is friendly, professional and has a positive approach towards her role within the Pre-School and the children and families within it.
Ashton joined as a Pre-School Assistant in 2015. Ashton is qualified in Child Care, Level 2 and Level 3. Ashton loves working with children and seeing them develop and learn new skills, she also enjoys developing her skills.
Level 2 Apprentice
Abbie volunteered at the preschool working towards her level 1 in Health and Social Care. Having completed this is July 2017, she is now employed as an apprentice working towards her Level 2 in Childcare.
