School Lane Pre-School is run by a Parent Management Committee made up from parents who are elected by the parents of children attending our setting.  The Committee manages the setting and is responsible for finances, employing and managing the staff, ensuring that the policies are current and worked to in order to provide a high quality of service and ensuring that the Pre-School works in partnership with the children’s parents.

We invite all parents to our Annual General Meeting which is held each September/October, where we look back over the past year’s activities and elect or re-elect new members, under the guidance of the Pre-School Constitution.

Committee Meetings are held and every half term to discuss Pre-School matters. Please do not be deterred by the word “Committee”; our meetings are friendly and informal. New members are most welcome as there are always lots to do and discuss in order to keep the Pre-School running.  If you are interested in joining the committee, please contact Emma, the Chairperson.
